JANUARY 6th 2002 HEINZ FIELD

A cold snowy day in Pittsburgh - ideal for football.

This is a great photo that I have on my desktop at work. It really captures the atmosphere of a January football game in Pittsburgh. We nearly didn't get there because we got stuck in the snow and had to wait for another car from the hotel to pick us up. They did Jodie and me proud, so thanks for your determination to get us to the game. The Holiday Inn bell captain and his team did a excellent job.

We were rewarded for everyone's troubles by watching a superb game as the Steelers progressed to the playoffs with a 27-7 win against the Brownies despite giving up an early touchdown.

The game also saw Tommy Maddox come on when Stewart was rested. Tommy threw a 40 yard touchdown pass to Bobby Shaw. Fu rushed for 98 yards.
